Presentation

The manufacturing of industrial equipment is a keystone of the metal and mechanical industry and requires technicians with multidisciplinary knowledge. The course of Machine Design and Industrial Robotics is an investment in such multidisciplinary knowledge, with the objective of setting the tranees up with competence in 3D modeling, design of industrial equipment based on robotics solutions, and, on the other hand, the know how to assemble, tune and place in service such equipment.

Graduate Activities

  • Assemble configure and program systems with Programmable Logic Controllers;
  • Conceive, execute and interpret drawings of parts in 3 dimensions and their respective tools using a computer;
  • Configure equipment according to their technical specifications;
  • Cooperate with the production área, with the goal of optimizing resources and reducing unproductive time;
  • Install , configure and maintain robotic industrial systems;
  • Perform assembly and tuning of mechanical assemblies, while interpreting drawings with the objective of placing industrial equipment in operation;
